A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN EWER 17th century, Transitional Period or Kangxi Of ovoid form, the body painted with figures presenting gifts to a reclined monk or merchant within a gardens scene with rock formations and pine trees, the shoulder and neck painted with floral sprays, the loop handle with later white metal or silver mounts, the mouth and spout also covered by a later European mount, 24cm high 中国 青花瓷 瓷器 壶 The handle having been broken and repaired with associated crack. Glaze-deep crack visible to interior of neck. Wear commensurate with age and use throughout
