A NEAR PAIR OF CHINESE IMARI TANKARDS AND COVERS (4) Kangxi Each of bell shape, one with cylindrical neck, the other with slightly waisted neck, each painted with panels of flowers reserved against a blue and gilt ground alternating with panels of flowers against an iron-red whorl pattern ground, the interiors set halfway down with a horizontal pierced bracket, 20cm and 21cm high 中国伊万里 大清康熙年制 瓷器 大杯 The Benjamin F, Edwards Collection with paper label The Leo and Doris Hodroff Collection with paper label The larger tankard with very minor restoration to the rim extending into a haircrack approx. 6cm length. Some wear to the gilding The smaller tankard with a fine haircrack to the rim, approx.9cm length. Some wear to the gilding Covers- 9cm diameter and 9.5cm diameter. The larger cover with some good restoration around the rim. Both covers with wear to the gilding.
