Presented to Frank Squier, 1896. A fine Tiffany & Co. sterling double handled presentation cup. The cup bears an extensive engraved presentation inscription honoring Mr. Frank Squier, commemorating his distinguished service as Commissioner of the Department of Parks for the City of Brooklyn and County of Kings from 1894–1895. The inscription reads: "A Token of Loving Regard to Mr. Frank Squier. By Those Who Were Members of His Personal Staff During His Two Years of Distinguished Service Commissioner of the Department of Parks The City of Brooklyn and the County of Kings 1894-1895 and Who Were the Recipients of His Friendship as Well as His Official Confidence. Henry L. Palmer, Deputy John E. Smith, Secretary Robert H. Smith, Paymaster William A. Booth, Property and Labor Clerk February 1, 1896.". Total approx. weight of the item is 16.46 troy oz (gross).
