A PAIR OF LARGE SCULPTED CLASSIC GARDEN URNS WITH LID, 20TH CENTURY

拍品描述

These monumental vases with amphora shape, a wide belly, a narrow foot, and a lid on top. On both sides are rams head, the horns extend upwards, forming the handle that curves toward the rim of the vase. The urns are richly decorated with leaf and grape reliefs. Atop a square pedestal, height 72 cm. and square 60 cm. Height overall 197 cm.
