"Paintings, Bronzes, Etc. of Old Montana from the collection of Philip Gillett Cole". The Cole holdings which later became the core of the Gilcrease Museum collection. The impressive catalog is inscribed "To my best of friends/ Bill Marseglia/ who knows and loves/ each and everyone/ of these paintings and/ bronzes as I do/ Philip G Cole/ June 1933". Mr. Marseglia was Cole's chauffeur and Cole gifted him this catalog. All of the images are tipped in photos. From a Tarrytown, NY collection.
