Of elegant hexagonal form, the bottle with tapering shoulders rising to a cylindrical neck and domed stopper attached by a retaining chain. The body is executed in finely pierced and chased silver, each panel decorated with intricate scrolling floral arabesques surrounding shaped cartouches engraved with figural scenes. The shoulders and neck are similarly adorned with openwork foliate ornament, while engraved floral borders frame the panels throughout. Condition consistent with age, including minor wear and tarnishing. H. 29 cm.
