FIVE EARLY ISLAMIC GLASS BEADS SYRIA, 900–1200 AD
拍品描述
Group of five elongated mosaic glass beads, decorated with repeated floral and rosette motifs formed from polychrome glass canes. The beads display a characteristic combination of dark green, cream, red, and yellow tones, with surface wear consistent with age and use. Produced using advanced mosaic and cane-slicing techniques, used as elements of necklaces or other personal adornments, they illustrate the continuity and refinement of ancient glass working traditions. Length between 3.0 and 3.8 cm.
