Finely potted in a compressed globular form resting on a short foot ring. The exterior is delicately enamelled in the famille verte palette with flowering peony and chrysanthemum sprays issuing from scrolling branches, interspersed with butterflies in flight. The cover is centered with a medallion enclosing flowering aquatic plants, surrounded by a continuous floral and butterfly design extending across the domed surface. Diam : 21 cm. Height: 13 cm.
