Of cylindrical form. Carved in black overlay to a turquoise blue ground of elongated panels. The tapering shoulder and neck of a lappet band. Lapis lazuli stopper. H. 9 cm Snuff Bottle Collection of John Mckeggie Rogers (1905-1977) He was a senior partner of the Toronto brokerage firm Doherty Roadhouse. He was a great collector of antiques. He started collecting snuff bottles in the 1940's alongside his friend Ken Thompson whose collection now resides in the AGO.
