Of tapered rectangular form. Carved in tea dust brown overlay to the milky white ground. Decorated with swallows on both sides. Jasper stopper. H. 7 cm Snuff Bottle Collection of John Mckeggie Rogers (1905-1977)He was a senior partner of the Toronto brokerage firm Doherty Roadhouse. He was a great collector of antiquities. He started collecting snuff bottles in the 1940's alongside his friend Ken Thompsonwhose collection now resides in the AGO.
