Of flattened tapered rectangular form. Carved in a rose-pink overlay on a milky white ground with lotus on one side, and ducks in a pond on the other. Jadeite stopper. H. 6.5 cm Snuff Bottle Collection of John Mckeggie Rogers (1905-1977)He was a senior partner of the Toronto brokerage firm Doherty Roadhouse. He was a great collector of antiquities. He started collecting snuff bottles in the 1940's alongside his friend Ken Thompsonwhose collection now resides in the AGO.
