Of flattened baluster form. The body painted with three scholars in a mountainous landscape in gray, black, blue and pink. Two-character studio mark to the underside.Clear quartz stopper. H. 7 cm Snuff Bottle Collection of John MckeggieRogers (1905-1977) He was a senior partner of the Toronto brokerage firm Doherty Roadhouse. He was a great collector of antiquities. He started collecting snuff bottles in the1940's alongside his friend Ken Thompson whose collection now resides in the AGO.
