Of cylindrical form with a short neck. The body decorated with a dragon in copper red on a leafy lotus ground. Metal and quartz stopper. H. 8.5 cm Snuff Bottle Collection of John Mckeggie Rogers (1905-1977)He was a senior partner of the Toronto brokerage firm Doherty Roadhouse. He was a great collector of antiquities. He started collecting snuff bottles in the 1940's alongside his friend Ken Thompsonwhose collection now resides in the AGO.
