Made from a high-fired fine-grained grey pottery that has been elaborately cold-painted in various coloured pigments, the design featuring a dragon surrounding the shoulder of the jar. Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8).Height 36 cm. 品相： Fine condition. There is minimal loss of the coloured pigment, all of which is original. Still adhering to the surface in places are the remains of ancient root/plant growths. There is no sign of any repair or restoration.
