A CHINESE YELLOW GLAZED MINIATURE PORCELAIN VASE, RARE 'CHANGFENG XUAN ZHENWANQI' MARK TO BASE, QING

拍品描述

The body of squat form with a cylindrical neck and everted rim covered in an even mustard yellow glaze. The glaze notably has a fine clear crackle and a textured surface, similar to orange peel. The base with six character mark to base translating to 'Vessel like a precious trinket for the pavilion for constant display' as per mark 2799 in the book of Marks on Chinese Ceramics by Gerald Davison. Vase 10.5cm tall'Changfeng xuan zhanwanqi' first appeared as a mark on early Kangxi minyao porcelain. Provenance: Property of a lady with title, from a private collection held at a Berkshire estate, acquired prior to 1950. 品相： In good overall condition with no signs of damage o repairs.
