Including examples embroidered in coloured and gold threads, comprising: an example on ivory silk embroidered predominately in gold thread with rockwork and coloured silk figures; a blue silk band embroidered in gold thread with continuous precious objects; a pair in ivory damask silk with figures in discussion on fret pattern ground; a pair embroidered with cranes, rockwork and flowers on a cream ground; a pair printed with figures in boats before islands on cream silk; two pairs embroidered with butterflies, flowers and knot pattern on yellow and silver damask silk and a single example embroidered in coloured silk with figures in boats and before terracing on cream silk. Provenance: William Faull (1861-1927), a merchant trader between Britain and the Far East, thence by descent. 品相: Some wear and loose threads overall. some fraying to edges, some with staining.
