Featuring a pheasant among peony blossoms, the cavetto decorated with other blossoms and geometric patterns. Together with a wooden display stand. 43.7cm diam. Similar examples are illustrated and described in the book 'Swatow' by Barbara Harrisson.For a similar charger see Christie's The Soame Jenyns Collection of Japanese and Chinese Art, London 1-8 November 2018, Lot 6. 品相： No restoration or repair but with an old stained crack from the rim through the base. The wooden stand with chip to corner and slightly loose at the joins.
