The interiors painted with a basket of flowers and fruit, within a border of alternating birds and ruyi head clouds. The exterior featuring birds in branches. The base with an Egret mark. 8.5 cm diam. (3) Ref: The egret mark is known to be associated with higher quality Wanli period Kraak ware from specific single kilns at Jingdezhen, to have been produced around 1595 to 1615. These dishes could have been produced at the latter end. Provenance: Private collection, Japan. 品相: Each with Kintsugi gilt lacquer repairs. First with chip and 2.5cm hairline. Second with a notable 'firing bubble' to the exterior with minor crazing. Third with fine 2.5cm hairline at the base.
