A Group of Four Assorted Japanese Stoneware Tea Caddies, Chaire, 17th/18th Century All with brown to grey-brown body, three with grey-brown to dark black-brown glazes, one with indented body, accompanied by a note inscribed "Oribe tea jar, age 300 years- H.I.(?), the fourth of katatsuki (shouldered) form, two lug handles flanking the lip, covered with a warm brown glaze with black streaks Tallest height 3 1/2 in., 8.8 cm.
