A Pair of Chinese Hardwood "Official's Hat" Sidechairs, Guanmaoyi 硬木官帽椅一對 The yoke crest with cloud-scroll ends, over a serpentine splat (with nicely-matched grain) and curved stiles, rectangular seats with hard woven mat, raised on circular legs joined by box stretcher, shaped spandrels with beaded edge; the wood of an attractive honey-brown tone with lustrous texture and some elements with feathery grain. Height 44 1/4 x Width 19 1/4 x depth 17 1/4 in.,112.3 x 49 x 44 cm. This lot is located in Philadelphia. 品相： Overall generally good condition, with wear to mat seats and backs of splats, joints appear to be tight and sturdy; some moderate sunfading and dryness to areas of timbers
