A Finely Made Chinese Bamboo Bird Cage with Bronze and Inlaid Fittings 竹鳥籠 The square cage comprised of a delicate bamboo frame, three assorted perches with gold wire inlay, a wood feeder with two sides inlaid with gold seal script, a similarly-inlaid charm, a porcelain bird feeder with famille rose Li Bai and attendant, five slender bamboo "pins" with finely-carved ends, and a finely-cast parcel-gilt bronze hook with inscriptions to the circular plate and along the hook, the shaft with twined dragons. Height 9 3/4 x Width 9 x Depth 9 in., 24.7 x 22.8 x 22.8 cm. This lot is located in Philadelphia.
