A cast iron kettle (tetsubin) with silver inlays and bronze cover Japan, cover marked Ryubundo zo, 20th c. H. 21,5 cm (mit Henkel), B. 19 cm The body of the kettle is cast in low relief: a sunrise over the sea on one side, and marine plants on the other. The handle with silvr inlays depicting a crab and an orchid on a rock. Attributed to Ryubundo, incised with company mark to the underside of the cover [龍文堂造]. German private collection - Minimally wear Gusseisenkanne (tetsubin) mit Silbereinlagen und Bronze-Deckel Japan, Deckel gemarkt Ryubundo zo, 20. Jh. H. 21,5 cm (mit Henkel), B. 19 cm Köper der Kanne im Flachrelief gegossen: auf einer Seite Sonnenaufgang übers Meer; auf der anderen Seite Meerespflanzen.
