Two paintings: Jumping carp in the style of Itō Jakuchū (1716-1800) and shrimps Japan, Edo period and later 101,6 x 35,3 cm/ 104 x 31,6 cm Ink and light colours on paper, each mounted as a hanging scroll. 1) A large koi carp jumping powerfully upwards out of the water. Signed: Tobeian. Sealed: Jakuchū koji. Inscribed wooden box and cardboard case. 2) Swarm of shrimps in green aquatic plants. Signed and sealed.
