Two paintings depicting floral motifs by Shunkin and Tanryō Japan, 19th/20th c. 29,5 x 64 cm/ 24,5 x 33,5 cm 1) Uragami Shunkin (1779-1846): Flowering plum tree and bamboo. Inscription, cyclically dated 1824, signed: Shunkin, sealed: Kisen, Shunkin. Ink on paper, mounted as a hanging scroll. 2) Murata Tanryō (1872-1940): Depiction of a blossoming cherry tree. Signed: Tanryō hitsu and an artist's seal. Ink and colours on paper, album leave format, mounted in passepartout. Important Bavarian private collection - Minor age damage, minor creased Zwei Malereien mit Floraldarstellung, Shunkin und Tanryō Japan, 19./20.
