A silk embroidered hanging, a rank insignia with gold pheasant and a round tray with inlaid embroidery China, late 19th c. 68 x 48 cm/ 34,5 x 37 cm/ D. 26 cm Silk satin (blue, black); embroidery: silk (colored), satin stitch; applied woven ribbons. Lining fabric: damask (pink). Decoration featuring peonies, magnolias, and a congratulatory inscription. The golden pheasant represents the second civil rank. Round tray made of dark, carved wood. Inlaid under glass: embroidery in gold thread and silk. A boy riding a Qilin, accompanied by an attendant. Formerly German private collection, acquired before 2007 - One missing part in the hanging. Rank insignia somewhat faded. Tray: edge broken in one place, embroidery faded Bestickter Behang, Rangabzeichen mit Goldfasan und rundes Tablett mit eingelegter Stickerei China, spätes 19. Jh. 68 x 48 cm/ 34,5 x 37 cm/ D. 26 cm Seidensatin (Blau, Schwarz); Stickerei: Seide (farbig), Plattstich; gewebte Bänder appliziert. Futterstoff: Damast (Rosa). Behang mit Päonien, Magnolien und Gratulationsinschrift. Der Goldfasan steht für den zweiten zivilen Rang. Rundes Tablett aus dunklem, geschnitzten Holz. Unter Glas eingelegt: Stickerei mit Goldfaden und Seide. Knabe auf Qilin mit Begleitung. Ehemals deutsche Privatsammlung, vor 2007 erworben - Im Behang eine Fehlstelle.
