A Dehua porcelain Guanyin with a boy and two adorants China, 18th c. H. 22,8 cm Guanyin, with a boy in her lap, sits in a relaxed pose on a rock. A dragon is curled up at her feet and she is flanked by adorants on her right and left. She is dressed in a voluminous robe and wears her hair gathered under a cowl. Her facial features and the drapery are finely modelled. From the collection of the chemist, engineer and director of Merck & Co. Heinrich Georg Johann Harms (3 Sept. 1906-28 June 1975) and his wife Eva Harms (10 Nov. 1905-13 Oct. 1998), mostly collected in Shanghai between 1935 and 1942 - Minimally dam., minimally rest. Guanyin mit Adoranten aus Dehua-Ware China, 18. Jh. H. 22,8 cm Guanyin, mit einem Knaben auf dem Schoß, sitzt in entspannter Pose auf einem Felsen. Zu ihren Füßen räkelt sich ein Drache, rechts und links ist sie von jeweils von Adoranten flankiert. Sie ist in ein voluminöses Gewand gekleidet und trägt das Haar unter einer Kutte gerafft. Ihre Gesichtszüge und der Faltenwurf sind fein modelliert. Aus der Sammlung des Chemikers, Ingenieurs und Direktors der Merck & Co. Heinrich Georg Johann Harms (3.9.1906-28.6.1975) und seiner Frau Eva Harms (10.11.1905-13.10.1998), größtenteils zwischen 1935 und 1942 in Shanghai gesammelt - Minimal best., minimal rest.
