A cream-white glazed bowl and a Ding ware lidded box China, box mared 'Yi Ding' D. 12/ 10,7 cm The lidded box is decorated with a delicate floral pattern on the top. The basic shape of the lid and item is based on a flower. The small bowl has an opulent decoration on the inside, which was created using an imprint process. It features two phoenixes, flowers and a decorative frieze around the bowl's rim. This is unglazed and, with its almost orange colour, stands out clearly from the ivory base tone of the vessel. South German private collection, acquired before 2007 - Slight traces of age, partly small chips Cremeweiß glasierte Schale und Deckeldose der Ding-Ware China, Deckeldose gemarkt 'Yi Ding' D. 12/ 10,7 cm Die Deckeldose ist auf der Oberseite mit einem zarten floralen Dekor verziert. Die Grundform von Deckel und Gegenstück ist an eine Blüte angelehnt. Die kleine Schale hat auf der Innenseite ein opulentes Dekor, das im Abdruckverfahren erzeugt wurde. Darauf sind zwei Phönixe, Blüten und ein Zierfries um die Schalenmündung zu sehen. Diese ist unglasiert und hebt sich mit seiner nahezu orangenen Farbe deutlich vom elfenbeinernen Grundton des Gefäßes ab.
