American School, Group of Four Portrait Silhouettes, 19th century, comprising: one gentleman, ink on paper, 1828, illegibly inscribed and dated to reverse, ebonized wood frame, one gentleman hollow-cut and cut-out silhouette with ink and pencil embellishments, giltwood frame, one young woman cut-out, ebonized wood frame and one of a lady with a high collar cut-out silhouette, ebonized and giltwood frame. Largest image: 4.25" H x 3.25" W; frame: 6" H x 5" W x 1" D. Provenance: The Estate of Alton G. Marshall, former aide to Nelson Rockefeller and President of Rockefeller Center.
