A group of 12 Chinese celadon-glazed bowls with incised floral design from the Jepara shipwreck, Fujian kilns, Song Dia.: 18 cm - H.: 7,6 cm (the largest bowl) Provenance: - Collection of Drs. M.B.P.M. Boerma, The Netherlands,by descent to thecurrent owners. A group of ceramics from the Jepara wreck, Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279). Discovered off the north coast of Central Java in 1998, the Jepara wreck yielded over 10.000 ceramic pieces, including celadon dishes, kendi and tableware produced at Fujian kilns for overseas export. Coins inscribed jianyan confirm a date within the reign of Emperor Gaozong (1127-1162).
