Depicted standing on a lotus base with a beaded edge, in his eight-armed, eleven-faced emanation, loosely fixated to the base, the principal hands held in namaskar mudra, the other six radiating around the body in different postures, one hand lowered to reveal a third eye in the palm, clad in a skirt with elaborate borders tied around the waist and a diaphanous shawl around the shoulders, adorned in the fine jewellery of a bodhisattva, the heads rising in groups of three surmounted by five-pointed crowns, the faces of serene expression apart from the tenth wrathful face which is that of Mahakala, the eleventh face is that of Amitayus, sealed with a later brass plate engraved with a double vajra (visvavajra).
