Dated 1921. Pictoral central medallion motif depicting the poet Ismail playing the tar, surrounded by richly ornamented fields. In the oval cartouches, poetic texts are rendered. Below the portrait, there is a woven date and place of origin: "Tabriz" rendered in both Latin and Persian letters, as well as the year 1329 according to the Islamic hijri calendar.
