Gilded and patinated bronze combined with red-speckled marble (rouge griotte). Modeled with an antiquarian drinking couple crowning the clock case, white-painted dial with Roman numerals, dark "Barrand à Paris", rectangular base plate with beveled corners and rich relief ornamentation. Length 47.5, width 15.5, height 41.5 cm. Key and pendulum included.
