the two figures each carved with high coiffure, wearing a robe open at the torso and falling in pleats, before a flaming mandala, lotus petal base, the first modelled as Kanon Bosatsu (Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara) with hands in Varada mudra in an open gesture, the second modelled as Seishi Bosatsu (Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta), leaning forward with both hands raised together in Namaskara mudra, adorned witrh elaborate headdress (2) Heights 43.3 cm, 17 in.
